Dwightmare finally comes to New Jersey

It's no secret that the Nets are desperate to make splash going into Brooklyn.  They need a "face" to "market" the Brooklyn move and put butts in the seats at Barclay's Center come this fall, otherwise  the Brooklyn Nets will have EPIC FAIL written all over it. Prior to last season the Nets pushed  hard to try to get LeBron James, and when they failed, they push even harder to get Carmelo Anthony only to lose out to their cross river rivals the Knicks. The Nets GM Billy King was able to get a nice consolation prize in the form of Deron Williams, but the clocks ticking to convince him that the Nets are a major players. His contract is up at the end of this season and while his hinted he's given no guarantee of a return.
Well this year's player saga comes in the form of the Orlando Magic's Dwight Howard. Before this season started Howard asked about what players he would like to play with since he will be a free agent at the end of the season. His answer to reporters were Nets guards Deron Williams and Anthony Marrow. Soon rumors broke out that Howard (or his agent) met secretly with Nets owners Mikhail Prokhorov and Sean "Jay Z" Carter.  The next day Howard demanded a trade to the Nets. Initially the it was thought that Nets would be charged with tampering, but mysteriously someone in the Orlando front office said that they give permission for the Nets to talk Howard's agent (probably after hung from their ankles from a very high place).Whatever deal that Nets might have tried to make died when their center Brook Lopez got injured during a preseason game with the Knicks.
Well tonight's the tonight to take a pause for "Lin-sanity" and get ready to step into "Dwightmare". Dwight Howard finally comes to New Jersey tonight, but he's still in a Orlando Magic uniform (and probably will be until the end season).
